Hey everyone,
So this weekend the movie 300 comes out, and I really want to see it as I have always enjoyed the story of the Spartan defense of Thermopolyae (sp?) and the Persian War in general. Of course, I know how the story ends... if it sticks to history that is. I have debated whether it is good to see a movie with lots of blood and guts (and maybe sex), but then I remembered I could always stay home and read the book of Judges which also has lots of blood, guts, armies of 300, and sex. So I will probably give it a try: I can always walk out if it is trash.
Amanda and I are hosting Mr. Stafford this weekend, so I better be going! In fact, he's here!

There's an interesting article on the movie in this week's Time.
I'm interested to hear what you think of it. The movie kinda caught my interest, but I haven't gone to see it yet.
My cousin went to see 300 a few nights ago. Somehow she had gotten the impression that the movie was a "Christian" one. She was, shall we say, surprised.
